Headstart Nursery provides a fun, loving and stimulating place for children to spend time in. It is divided into separate rooms - Baby Room for babies up to 18 months, Pre-Toddler Unit for children aged 18 months to 2 years, Toddler Room for children aged 2 years to 3 years and the Pre-School Learning Centre which is split into Lower Pre-School for children aged 3 to 4 years and Upper Pre-School for children to move into the year before they go to school. The Pre-School Learning Centre is a dedicated area where children are introduced to a more structured routine and activities, all designed to prepare children for school readiness.
We greet all the children as they arrive at the nursery and when they get to their rooms there will be a familiar, friendly face waiting to welcome them. Each child will have their own personal peg to hang their belongings on and a Key Person who will get to know them very well. We pride ourselves on providing a warm, loving and homely environment, and at the same time making sure that the rooms are inviting and exciting for the children to explore.
The nursery is run by a supernumerary Manager, Nicola George, and a supernumerary Deputy, Tiffany Williams. Each room has its own Room Supervisor who together, with her team of practitioners, ensure that your child has a fun-filled and stimulating experience everytime he/she attends the nursery. They will also keep you fully informed about your child's progress and development.
Our outdoor area is equally as inviting and exciting, with a dedicated garden especially for babies. We have created areas outside that reflects the areas we have indoors, and here the children are provided with ample opportunities to explore and learn in a "big" way. Being outside gives them more freedom and space to spread their exploration and learning further, encouraged and supported by our enthusiastic practitioners
We are very proud of our nursery and we invite you and your child to come and see what we have to offer. To arrange a visit please call us on 01476 591744 or email us at grantham@headstartnurseries.co.uk. Your visit will be a good introduction for you and your child to our facilities and our homely and nurturing environment.
