It is the intention of First Steps, Headstart & Stepping Stones Nurseries to make our provisions accessible to children and families from all sections of the community
First Steps, Headstart & Stepping Stones Nurseries will ensure that all children are greeted warmly and made to feel welcome upon arrival and staff will ensure that they depart safely at the end of every session.
First Steps, Headstart & Stepping Stones Nurseries aim to work in partnership with parents/carers to settle the child into the group environment to ensure they feel safe, secure and comfortable with staff and their surroundings.
In accordance with the reformed EYFS First Steps, Headstart & Stepping Stones Nurseries will have regard to the Government’s Statutory Guidance 'Working Together to Safeguard Children'.
The computer and internet access provides opportunities to enhance education by supporting the planning of activities and researching information. This policy sets out the Nurseries' standards for the safe use of this ICT.
